Lauren Goodger hits the town for the first time since confirming her split with jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison
LAUREN Goodger enjoyed her first night out since confirming she is a single lady again last night after splitting from jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison.
The Towie star finally confirmed she had split from Joey on Wednesday after weeks of speculation.
But Lauren was clearly not feeling down in the dumps about being single and was clearly ready to mingle as she headed out in London for a girls night to celebrate former co-star Frankie Essex's birthday.
The 30-year-old pulled out all the stops for the evening at Gilgamesh in Camden, wearing a black sheer dress which featured a cream slip underneath and a cold shoulder detail.
The garment also featured a choker detail while allowing Lauren to show off her chest as strutted along the pavement with her gal pals.
Lauren - whose curves were on full display in the dress - linked one of her friends, who wore a white mini dress with fringed skirt, as she carried her snake print bag over her shoulder and gave a smile to the cameras.
Birthday girl Frankie, who turns 29 next week, didn't seem to be in a similar mood though and hid her face behind her large red clutch bag.
Frankie wore a black off the shoulder lace dress and bright red heels to match her bag, and used her long blonde hair to also help her cover her face from the paparazzi flashbulbs.
She wasn't so lucky on her way home from the evening though, as she was pictured looking a little worse for wear as she climbed into a taxi to head home.
Lauren's girls night out comes days after she finally confirmed the reports she had split from Joey following a 15-month romance.
The reality star posted a video on Instagram confirming The Sun Online's story that their relationship ended a few months ago.
Lying on her bed in the video, the 30-year-old tells fans: "There's been a lot of speculation and claims recently about me and Joey about my weight and our relationship.
"We haven't been together for a few months now and I haven't said anything until now as I don't have to explain my every move and should be allowed to deal with things in my own time.
"My antics out and about recently are because I am single and enjoying myself with my friends."
She continues: "Me and Joey are still speaking, and we're good friends as nothing happened to make us fall out.
"Joey will be home in not too long hopefully and I will see him as we've been through this last year and half together and have a friendship and respect for each other.
He's helped me a lot just as I've been there for him so of course we'll remain friends. #always #love #respect #bond."
Back in July The Sun Online revealed Lauren and Joey were on the rocks following a furious row inside HMP Highpoint South, where Joey has been behind bars since 2008 for possession of a firearm, kidnap and blackmail.
