Bikini clad Frankie Essex soaks up the Spanish sun as she celebrates her 30th birthday after revealing battle with depression after gaining a stone
FRANKIE Essex soaked up the sun on her Spanish holiday as she celebrated her 30th birthday in style.
The former Towie star looked gorgeous in a purple and blue bikini as she enjoyed a shower on her luxurious holiday.
Her latest holiday comes after Frankie opened up about her battle with depression following some recent weight gain.
A crippling knee injury meant she was unable to work out and meant she put on a few pounds.
The star had lost over two stone and released her own fitness DVD in 2016 after overhauling her lifestyle and hitting the gym.
In a recent chat with The Sun, Frankie said not being able to do cardio has left her "depressed" and her "whole body swollen".
She has been feeling so down that a doctor has recommended she go on anti-depressants.
But it looks like she has put her troubles behind her as she showed off her tan as she relaxed by the pool.
In July, Frankie was showing off her weight loss on holiday, but now just over a month later her self-esteem is shot to pieces because she can't do her usual exercise.
And after ditching her "saggy belly" in 2016 through tough work-outs, Frankie has been hit hard by being stuck at home.
She told The Sun: "I have hurt my knee so I haven't been able to train. You know when you just get depressed? I go to the gym and that helps with my depression.
"I didn't leave the house for a week 'cos I was in so much pain.

"It's horrible and it's a bit depressing. I'm swollen. My whole body is swollen. It's frustrating cos I can't go for a run."
The Essex native, and cousin of Chloe Sims, continued: "I've got to take things easy. I've now got a personal trainer to help me.
"It swelled up so big I had a massive knee. Obviously I've had to be careful because it's an injury. I used to do jumping, squats, I can't do that now."
The blonde reality star, who claims she was "crying her eyes out" in pain when the knee injury hit, says she is allowed to do swimming, stretches and yoga.
A doctor has also recommended she go back on anti-depressants to help tackle her low mood.
It comes after Frankie tracked her journey to her perfect "Vegas body" on social media at the start of the summer.
