Lauren Goodger ‘wants to get back with jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrisson’ when he’s released from prison as she battles to regain size 8 figure for him
LAUREN Goodger wants to get back with her jailbird ex Joey Morrisson and have his babies once he is released from prison, according to friends.
The Towie star, 30, revealed last week that her relationship with the firearms thug was over, but pals say her feelings and future plans haven’t disappeared.
An insider told New: “They’re still speaking, but not just as regularly.
“She keeps telling her friends never say never to them getting back together. She still wants his babies, so it wouldn’t be a shock if they gave their relationship another go when he gets out.”
And Lauren is so keen to get back with Joey, who is currently serving a 16 year sentence for possession of a firearm, kidnap and blackmail, that she’s apparently training to go from her already svelte size 12 figure down to a size eight.
A source told Closer: “Joey didn’t pressure her to lose weight but he did encourage her in her efforts because he knew she could achieve her body goals again.
“She doesn’t like her figure at the moment, but she doesn’t hate it either. She’s a different size in different brands, but she would like to lose weight and get her training body back.”
Last week Lauren confirmed the relationship was over in a video message to fans.
Lying on her bed in the video, she said: "There's been a lot of speculation and claims recently about me and Joey about my weight and our relationship.
"We haven't been together for a few months now and I haven't said anything until now as I don't have to explain my every move and should be allowed to deal with things in my own time.
"My antics out and about recently are because I am single and enjoying myself with my friends."
She continues: "Me and Joey are still speaking, and we're good friends as nothing happened to make us fall out.
"Joey will be home in not too long hopefully and I will see him as we've been through this last year and half together and have a friendship and respect for each other. He's helped me a lot just as I've been there for him so of course we'll remain friends. #always #love #respect #bond."
