Strictly Come Dancing’s Mollie King slams ‘fix’ claims and insists she ‘dances like an elephant’ as she hints The Saturdays could reunite ‘next year’
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Mollie King has slammed "fix" claims and insists she hasn't had any formal dance training.
The Saturdays star claims she hasn't had a head start in the competition and says she actually "dances like an elephant".
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, she said: "People will assume I've had formal dance training but I haven't.
"When I was in a ballet class aged three they said I danced like an elephant so I played football instead!
"I'm petrified I will tumble down the stairs on Saturday or forget the routine."
The 30-year-old also admitted she worried about being kicked out of the BBC reality show in the first few weeks.
She added: "I want to stay in it until the half way mark.
"I'm aware it does take over your life but I asked management to do it after seeing Frankie [Bridge] on it a few years back and I'm so excited."
Mollie has been partnered with AJ Pritchard and said she "needs a strong man" when it comes to lifts so that she can feel "secure".
The pair have already sparked romance rumours after they enjoyed a cosy night in together.
Mollie is already working on solo material for when her time on Strictly comes to an end.
She told us: "My new single is by the same team who have produced Nadine Coyle's comeback track which is really excited."
However, while she'll be releasing her own single, Mollie also hinted that The Saturdays could be reuniting very soon.
"There could be another Saturdays single in a couple of years," she added.
