Frankie Essex left devastated after being fat shamed by a stranger on holiday – and vows to never wear a bikini again

FRANKIE Essex has revealed she was fat shamed by a stranger on holiday – and now never wants to wear a bikini again.

The former Towie star was left devastated after a cruel holidaymaker branded her fat as she celebrated her 30th birthday with a trip to Spain.

The upsetting incident occurred as Frankie soaked up the sun alongside her best mate Casey Batchelor.

Frankie said: “Was having a lovely day at the pool with @caseybatchelor until someone decided to call me fat a few sun loungers down from us so hurtful 🙈.”

She added: “I don't even want to wear a bikini now feel so uncomfortable.”

The comments are particularly difficult for Frankie to deal with after recently revealing she is suffering from depression after gaining a stone in weight.

A crippling knee injury meant she was unable to workout and meant she put on a few pounds.

The star had lost over two stone and released her own fitness DVD in 2016 after overhauling her lifestyle and hitting the gym.

In a recent chat with The Sun, Frankie said not being able to do cardio has left her "depressed" and her "whole body swollen".

She has been feeling so down that a doctor has recommended she go on anti-depressants.

The break appeared to be just what the stunner needed to lift her spirits – until she was targeted by jealous fat shamers.

Meanwhile her mate Casey who was on holiday with her tweeted her support, saying: “Jealous idiots babe! They wish they were having as much fun as us! I think it's sangria time 💃.”

Her followers also offered her words of encouragement, with one writing:  “U are not fat u look amazing x”

Another commented: “Don't feel bad you are stunning and always have been you are definitely not fat what silly girls they are x”

While someone else remarked: “People are so jealous x your definitely NOT fat and you're really beautiful xxxx.”
