Kim Kardashian planning ‘birth party’ so the entire Kardashian family can watch the surrogate give birth in hospital
KIM Kardashian is planning a birth party when her third child is born by surrogate early next year – and the entire Kardashian family will be there.
Kim and husband Kanye West will be in the delivery room for the arrival of their new baby, and the extended family will wait in adjoining birth suites for the big moment, friends of the couple have exclusively told The Sun Online.
“Kim had very difficult pregnancies with both North and Saint, so she couldn’t have her family around her for those births,” says our insider.
“This time, she wants to be really in the moment – there for every second of the birth, and wants to bond with the baby immediately.
“She wants to share the experience with the people she loves – the whole family was there when Kourtney had Mason, and it was such a special experience for everyone.”
The friend adds that Kim has agreed with her surrogate that the family can attend and plans to make it a real occasion.
“It’s not going to be everyone she knows – just Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, mum Kris and maybe few close friends and family on Kanye's side,” says the insider.
“So many people have been with Kim and Kanye on this journey, they want to share the special moment with them.”
Sister Kourtney threw a birth party for her first baby, and the video of the big moment, recorded by Mason’s dad and Kourtney’s then-partner Scott Disick, was later handed over to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians production crew and shown on screen.
“The birth of my son was such a beautiful experience that I really wanted to share it with people, because it was my child,” she said.
“The camera crew and extended family were all there for Penelope’s birth too, and Kourtney loves that it was all shown on TV – and she can watch it back any time,” says our insider.
Kim went into labour three days early with last baby Saint and only husband Kanye was present for the birth – although sister Khloe turned up to visit shortly afterwards.
And when baby North was born in 2013, the reality star went into labour five weeks early – and again, the Kardashian family wasn’t able to make the birth, with just Kanye in the birthing suite.
The Sun Online revealed earlier this week that the couple’s surrogate – and unnamed married woman in her twenties – is being cared for in a safe house, with £1.2m of security.
