Gemma Collins in talks for sensational I’m A Celebrity return after Declan Donnelly backs her return to the jungle
GEMMA Collins is in talks to make a sensational return I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after host Declan Donnelly backed her jungle comeback.
The Towie legend is in negotiations to sign up for her second stint on the show after previously quitting in 2014.
Gemma, 36, lasted just three days in the jungle three years ago, and she recently revealed the personal torment that led to her exit amid allegations she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend hours before she flew to Australia.
She is now hoping to put the past behind her with a second turn on the survival series.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that Gemma is in talks with producers about signing up for another trip Down Under.
The reality regular is currently more popular than ever with fans and TV bosses are keen to sign her up.
She has also received the backing of the show's co-host Dec, who told her he's keen to see her back.
A source told us: "Gemma has been backed by Dec, he thought she was really good [last time she was on] and he told Gemma she would be great if she came back to the show.
"She's riding on the crest of a wave right now - she's doing well on Towie, she massive on social media after all the memes and and everyone is a bit obsessed with her.
"She in talks to sign up but it's early days. Nothing is set in stone yet.

"Producers know there's a bit of heat around her right now so she would be great on the show.
"Gemma really wants a chance to prove herself and set the record straight."
She previously told The Sun Online that ITV bosses begged her not to take part in the show last time as she was struggling to deal with the traumatic events that happened at home.
Gemma said: "I was severely beaten up by my partner the night before I went into the jungle.
“I'm lucky to be alive. He beat me to within an inch of my life...
“When I went in there I was really badly beaten from my neck down.
“ITV didn't want me doing it but because they'd given me such a huge opportunity, how could I not do it?
“I took all the abuse and the stick about leaving the jungle. And every year when the jungle comes on I dread it because people bring up leaving the jungle.
"He was a b*****d and I'm going to release the pictures of what happened.
"It will put it to bed so people know and they stop bantering me about it.
"They don't know and it's not their fault."
