LAUREN Goodger was all smiles on the red carpet at the Diversity In Media Awards after breaking down in tears on Loose Women earlier today.
The ex-Towie star opened up about her break up with jailbird Joey Morrison and struggled to hold back her tears when she told the panel how her romance with the thug had ended.
Joey is currently serving a 16 year sentence for possession of a firearm.
But Lauren put the emotional day behind her as she put her best foot forward at the star-studded bash.
Lauren looked chic in an geometric print long-sleeved dress and designer clutch and stilettos.
She wore her long caramel locks in loose waves and couldn't keep the smile off her face as she arrived at the awards ceremony at the Waldorf Hilton in London.
Other guests at the bash included Denise Welch, Mollie King, Nadine Coyle and Michelle Collins.
Speaking about the breakdown of their relationship, Lauren admitted Joey – who’s been behind bars since 2008 – was supposed to be coming out last November.
She explained: “He was supposed to come out then he got set back and it put a big strain on us.
“He wasn’t getting out for another year and I couldn’t wait no more.
“Me going out drinking and him inside, it put a strain on us.”
Denise Van Outen said to Lauren: “He didn’t like you going out did he?” She replied: “He didn’t, no.”
As she tried to maintain her composure, Lauren continued: “The pressure of being inside and seeing me going out was pressure on him.
“It was mentally draining, it’s been so hard.”
But it soon became too much for her, and she burst into tears and had to be comforted by the panel who told her how well she was doing.
Lauren said: “I feel under so much pressure at the moment. It's knocked my confidence completely. I don't know why I'm crying.
After the show, Lauren told her fans: “So sorry for crying on Loose Women I couldn't get my words out what I wanted to say .. I froze and felt very nervous! But thanks for the support.
“I'm only human and have a lot on at the minute with relationship work and other things! But feel much better now.”
Lauren told admitted her family and friends were happy their romance had ended after seeing the effect it had on her and hinted he had been controlling.
The Sun Online revealed the pair had split after a series of rows last month.
