Towie fans are heartbroken for Megan McKenna as she sobs on TV over mean girls drama – but viewers are cheered up Gemma Collins as she oggles men’s bums

TOWIE fans were left heartbroken tonight as Megan McKenna sobbed on TV over the mean girls drama with Georgia Kousoulou and Chloe Meadows.

The reality TV beauty broke down in tears as she accused the girls of picking on her during tonight's show - but viewers were cheered up by a hysterical scene with Gemma Collins oggling men's bums.

Megan, 24, was seen sobbing in the gym as she discussed the behaviour of the other castmates including Georgia and her boyfriend Tommy Mallett.

She said: "I'm sick of it. It's all the time. They pick on me and make me look bad."

Megan turned away from the camera as tears rolled down her cheeks and she was comforted by Amber Turner and her boyfriend Pete Wicks, who put his arms around her.

She has been attempting to reunite her girl band in recent weeks, but all her efforts have fallen flat and Megan is feeling more isolated than ever.

The girl band, which is what Megan calls the friendship group made up of  Chloe Meadows, Courtney and herself, have barely been on speaking turns for the last year but Megan was hoping for that to change.

The drama continued later in the episode as Megan had a furious bust-up with Georgia, who accused the TV-star-turned singer of being an attention seeker.

She fumed: "You make everything about you."

Fuming Megan stormed off as Gemma Collins watched on, no doubt delighted not to be at the centre of the row for once.

But Towie viewers sided with Megan and they took to Twitter to defend her.

One wrote: "I can't watch this, Megan is being thrown to a pack of wolves.

";Yes she might be gobby but she is 1 person against how many? Awful #TOWIE."

Another tweeted: " If being that nasty is what people are now calling being real, I'd rather be fake 😴😴 #TOWIE."

A third wrote: "How jealous are all the cast of @Megan_Mckenna_.

"They're stuck in their sad lives playing dramas and she's in the charts 🤣 #towie"

But Towie fans were treated to a hilarious scene involving Gemma to ease the tension in tonight's show.

She was helping Bobby pick a naked waiter for his party, and she was seen swooning over the hunky men who were auditioning for the party.

Gemma's face was a picture and fans flocked to social media to laugh about her expressions.

One wrote: "Gemma Collins face!! 😂😂 #TOWIE."

Meanwhile Jon Clark treated his love interest Lauren Pope to a picnic, but she dropped a bomb shells as she seeming used the romantic moment to dump him.

She told the Towie regular she doesn't trust him and fears he is too involved with his ex-girlfriend, Love Island's Chloe Crowhurst, who he split from this summer.

Lauren told him: "I don't trust you. You're a bit of a risk...

"I'm worried about things getting messy so I'm just going to leave now."

Jon was left sitting on the picnic blanket on his own looking sad.

The drama continues in The Only Way Is Essex next Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
