Wes Brown and Phil Bardsley BANNED from nights out with Wayne Rooney by furious RHOC star wives Leanne and Tanya after drink drive conviction

THE Real Housewives Of Cheshire stars Tanya Bardsley and Leanne Brown have banned their footballer husbands Phil and Wes from going on nights out with former team-mate Wayne Rooney.

The reality pair “read their husbands the riot act” after Wayne Rooney was convicted of drink driving following a night out with Wes and Phil in Cheshire earlier this month.

“Both Leanne and Tanya were furious about all the attention Wes and Phil’s night out with Wayne got,” says our insider.

“They told them to keep a low profile and knock the nights out on the head for a while until the attention dies down.”

“They don’t want their husbands going out with Wayne at all, really – it’s not great their names have been dragged into this.”

Wayne and former Manchester United teammate Phil were on a night out a Bubble Room in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, to give Wes a send off before he moves to play football in India.

After moving onto Symposium, and with wife Coleen on holiday in Majorca, office worker Laura Simpson claims the Everton footballer was dancing on the tables and “admiring my boobs”.

“He kept asking what size they were,” she said.

"He asked if they were real and said, ‘I’d like to get my hands on them’. I laughed, he was being flirty and I didn’t tell him my boobs are fake.

“Yes he’s a bit of a lad, and I was drunk but I was doing nothing wrong. I’m not a marriage wrecker.”

Wayne was later arrested around 2am after being caught by police driving Laura’s car – and blew three times the legal limit in the breathalyzer test.

He pled guilty to drink driving in court this week, and offered a grovelling apology to his family and club.

"I want publicly to apologise for my unforgivable lack of judgment in driving while over the legal limit. It was completely wrong.

"I have already said sorry to my family, my manager and chairman and everyone at Everton FC. Now I want to apologise to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career,” he said in a statement.

“Leanne and Tanya know what some girls in Cheshire are like, and the attention Laura has got from the story will only make things worse,” says the insider.

“They’re worried that if they go out with Wayne now, they’ll be a target.

“They don’t want the embarrassment of what happened to Coleen to happen to them.

“They’ve told their respective husbands to stay out of the bars and keep a low profile.

“And nights out with Wayne are definitely off the table.”

We doubt Wayne will be allowed too many nights out in the coming weeks – he’s been fined two weeks wages (around £300,000), ordered to pay £170 in costs and banned from driving for two years.

He also has to do 100 hours of community service over 12 months.
