Maria Fowler and boyfriend Kelvin Batey get his ‘n’hers hair transplants as they’re seen leaving a Glasgow clinic together
The former Towie star and her boyfriend still managed to put on an amorous appearance despite their very tender looking heads. That’s love for you.
MARIA Fowler and her boyfriend Kelvin Batey have been spotted leaving a clinic after getting his ‘n’ hers hair transplants.
The former Towie star, 31, and her 36-year-old balding beau were spotted leaving KSL Hair Clinic in Glasgow with two sore looking heads.
Maria appears to be having her hairline made thicker with an extra inch of hair follicles appearing to have been implanted.
Meanwhile Kelvin looked to be having more thorough work on his hairline, plus bandaging at the back of his head suggests an all-round job.
Despite the spots of blood on his forehead, he still managed to smile and enjoy a kiss with Maria.
As they walked through the carpark of the clinic, Maria was carrying a booklet presumably with aftercare instructions.
While Maria has never mentioned feeling insecure about her hair before, she did open to The Sun Online about how she lost her post-baby weight.
The star wanted to lose her “mum tum” after giving birth to her first baby, a daughter called Evie, last September.
During her pregnancy Maria put on 3st – taking her weight up to 11st 7lbs – but after overhauling her diet and lifestyle, she’s feeling back to her best.
Maria, 30, told The Sun Online: “I had more muffin tops than Mr Kipling!
“I was eating for two when I was pregnant but now I’m back to my pre-baby weight and feel sexier than ever.”
Maria got back into shape with the help of daily power walks – which allowed her to exercise at the same time as bonding with little Evie.
She has also been very open about her mental health and in July shared with fans that it has been four years since her suicide attempt.
Maria tweeted: “Four years ago to this week I was in hospital after attempting to take my own life, if it wasn’t for the hospital staff I would either not be here or be living with lifelong health side effects.
“Four years on and I have a beautiful daughter, happy life and free from depression, anxiety and living in a relationship with somebody who took enjoyment out of this.
“So what I’m trying to say is no matter how dark your days are or how little hope you have that there will be a brighter future, it should never be the end.”
She added: “If I knew what my future had in store, maybe my actions that week would have been different.
“There is always hope and a way to a better life.
“And I thank the @Samaritans for being there to listen when I felt I had nobody.”
