Eastenders’ Lacey Turner shares the first picture from her private wedding album on Instagram
LACEY Turner has shared the first picture from her private wedding album on Instagram today.
The EastEnders actress tied the knot with childhood sweetheart Matt Kay earlier this month in a romantic ceremony in Ibiza.
The couple shared pictures from their big day with OK! Magazine, but now Lacey - who plays Stacey Fowler in the BBC One soap - has shared her own snaps.
Taking to Instagram, the 29-year-old posted a photograph of her and Matt laughing at the altar with Lacey clapping as she faced her friends and family.
Looking stunning in her lacy champagne coloured wedding dress, the couple stood in front of a beautiful multi-coloured floral canopy.
Lacey dedicated the snap to Sunny Ramzan, who is stood between the couple under the flowers in the shot.
She captioned the image: "@sunnyramzan you beautiful human being ! Thank you for your lovely words and enchanting personality".
Lacey also shared a number of snaps which look like they were taken during her wedding weekend on the White Isle.
In one picture, the star cuddles her new husband from behind as they both smile for the camera.
She captioned it simply: "My 1" with a heart emoji.
The third shot saw Lacey posing with a cigar in her mouth as she pulled a face for the camera while wearing a red bikini with coloured flowers attached.
Speaking to OK! about their nuptials - which was witnessed by her co-stars including Jake Wood, Aaron Sidwell, Laurie Brett, Scott Maslen and former co-star Dame Barbara Windsor - Lacey said: "We’re on cloud nine! It doesn’t feel real.
"I didn't go to sleep until 5am on our wedding night as I was still so excited about the day and then I woke up at 8am!"
She continued: “The whole day was amazing and we felt so much love and it’s incredible; it’s something you’ve never felt before.”
Discussing falling for each other at such a young age, Matt said: "It's so special that we met at such a young age.
"It doesn't happen for a lot of people and I feel very lucky to have Lace in my life and we’re lucky to have met when we did. I think it was meant to be.’
While Lacey added: “I just feel really lucky.”
