Jaqueline Jossa ‘worried for the future’ after EastEnders contract ends and she needs to land new jobs to support her family with Dan Osborne
Soap favourite is reportedly keen for new work after she and Lorna Fitzgerald were written out of 'Enders by bosses - leaving her without a steady job to support her and Dan Osborne's family.
SOAP star Jacqueline Jossa is thought to be worried about her future and being able to support her family - following her character being written out of EastEnders.
The 24-year-old actress, who plays Lauren Branning in the BBC soap, is being written out with on-screen sister Lorna Fitzgerald, who plays the conniving Abi, before the year is out - and is now looking for new jobs.
And because she and her new husband - former Towie star Dan Osborne - have a young daughter called Ella, the telly star is concerned she will no longer be the breadwinner her family needs.
The Sun exclusively revealed that EastEnders bosses had made the dramatic decision to cull the Branning sisters earlier this month, before hubby Dan posted a supportive message on Twitter.
Dan wrote: "The show will miss these 2 characters.. You are so talented babe and I'm proud of you. This is just the beginning of your career."
Jacqueline, who only tied the knot with Dan in June, is yet to comment on the career news, but New! Magazine claims she "already has lots [of jobs] on the table to explore".
The performer did, however, post a snap of herself with Lorna on the day the 'Enders exits were announced - seven years after she joined as a Walford newbie.
Since being sacked from Towie in 2015, her partner Dan has struggled finding secure employment - starring for a period in the strip show Dreamboys before recently opening his own tattoo parlour in Essex called Ink Paradise.
Now he and his soon-to-be-unemployed wife are intent on creating new stable sources of income - as their daughter Ella, two, is approaching school age.
Ella is also not their only child as Dan - whose dad claimed he was banned from his lavish manor house wedding to Jacqueline - has a three-year-old son called Teddy with ex Megan Tomlin.
SOAP SHOCKS Seven explosive EastEnders storylines revealed as Max's revenge is exposed and Phil returns to crime
Despite the sad news for Lauren Branning fans, a soap source has assured The Sun Online that Jacqueline's exit will be one of "the biggest on-screen moments of the year".
Considering new 'Enders boss John Yorke is keen to shake up the soap. the Branning sisters may even get killed off - as it's doubtful Lauren will escape psycho boyfriend Steven and vengeful dad Max unscathed.
