Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins gets close to Strictly partner Brendan Cole as they rehearse routine for the first show

CHARLOTTE Hawkins was seen alternating between giggles and deep concentration as she joined her Strictly Come Dancing partner Brendan Cole for a gruelling rehearsal this week.
The Good Morning Britain presenter was snapped at a London studio practising her routine for Saturday night's first live show.
It's already been revealed that Charlotte, 42, and pro dancer Brendan, 41, will be dancing the foxtrot to Michael Buble's song The Best Is Yet To Come.
And the pair appeared to be getting along famously as they shared a laugh in between perfecting their dance steps.
Charlotte was dressed down in black leggings and a loose black T-shirt that fell off one shoulder while she was dancing. Strictly stalwart Brendan, meanwhile, kept it casual in a bright blue top and jeans.
Brendan was seen guiding an attentive Charlotte through the various movements in the dance.
At one stage she was seen with her arms on his shoulders, staring down at her feet as she got to grips with the steps.
In another snap the pair were seen linking arms and leaning back.
Charlotte recently admitted to magazine that she was finding it hard to stop laughing during rehearsals as she wasn't used to being in such close proximity with a relative stranger.
"You have to look deep into your partner’s eyes," she said.
"It’s the weirdest thing, because who does that with a stranger in everyday life? My default is to start giggling. It’s like being at the school dance and being mortified when you come face to face with a boy.
"I hope I can get over that."
He playfully quipped to Charlotte on Wednesday: "You might need a week off if you fall over on Saturday.
"You might need more than a week off, in fact you might get the whole show off."
She replied: "Thank you for the vote of confidence."
Charlotte and Brendan have technically already danced together on live TV, as Brendan took her for a spin on GMB in August when she was announced as a Strictly contestant.
Former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips was in the studio at the time and jokingly gave them a score of five out of ten.
She advised Charlotte: “Let the man lead! That was not bad for a first attempt, I’m giving a five.
"I think she's going to be fabulous."
As well as joking that Charlotte could injure herself on Strictly, naughty Piers Morgan hasn't been able to resist joking about the infamous Strictly curse.
Despite Charlotte and Brendan both being happily married, the often controversial Piers quipped while interviewing Brendan this week: "So when is the this Strictly curse expected to start working then?”
Brendan appeared lost for words before making a joke out of it, saying: “Very early on”.
Charlotte was sitting at the desk during the chat and she looked aghast.
The awkward moment came less than 24 hours after Brendan confirmed in a sweet Instagram video that his model wife Zoe is pregnant with their second child.
The Strictly star made a boomerang of Zoe grinning and pointing to her bump.
Brendan and Zoe are already parents to four-year-old Aurelia.
Zoe posted a similar picture on Instagram and joked: “Yes it's true! Came back from Mallorca recently with a little excess baggage!”
It wasn't the first time Piers had teased Charlotte about the Strictly curse, either.
Earlier this week, the cheeky host read out quotes from Charlotte's recent interview with Weekend Magazine live on GMB, telling her: "In here some very intriguing detail of your burgeoning relationship with your partner Brendan Cole.
"'You have to look deep into your partner's eyes, you sigh, it's the weirdest thing. My default is to start giggling, it's like being at the school dance'.
"Looks like things are progressing rather nicely," he said, before adding: "For the old curse."
Charlotte has been married to Mark Herbert since 2008 and the pair have one child together, a two-year-old girl named Ella Rose.
