HERE COMES TROUBLE

James Willmott-Brown’s reign of terror starts on Eastenders as he breaks into Kathy Beale’s cafe

The evil businessman will be making his return to Walford after being revealed as Fi and Josh's dad last week

EASTENDERS villain James Willmott-Brown wastes no time before he starts nosing around just days after returning to Albert Square.

The posh baddie, played by William Boyde, has returned to Walford 28 years after he was sentenced to three years in prison for the rape of Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).

He made his first appearance last week, after hints that he could be the mystery man who left a note and flowers for Kathy.

In Friday night's instalment of the BBC1 soap Willmott-Brown is seen visiting Kathy's Cafe at night.

He takes the opportunity to go in and have a look while no one is there... but will he run into anyone from his past?

EastEnders bosses have said viewers will now see a story of "power, control, money and revenge" unfold as the villain and his family attempt to destroy everything and anyone in their way.

"And of course, there is one other person on Willmott-Brown's agenda - the woman he believes ruined his life - Kathy Beale", EastEnders said.

"With the help of his family, Willmott-Brown will continue in his mission to slowly take over Albert Square."

Since James' return to the Square, fans have been sent into a frenzy over what he has planned - and even believe he could be the estranged dad of Walford regular, Jay.

On Friday's show, fans saw Max Branning collect his old cell mate and James’ son Luke Browning from prison to take him home.

Luke’s sister Sophie, aka Fi, and half-brother Josh and his uncle Hugo were waiting for him.

He was then shocked to meet his father and Max’s boss for the first time - James.

The posh speaking former Army officer had a brief affair with Debbie Wilkins in the 1980s and raped Kathy Beale in July 1988.

After taunting Kathy with flowers, James' plot will be kicked up a notch

He was sentenced to prison in April 1989 and made a brief return to Walford in 1992 before being run out of town by unhappy residents.

However, it already appears that one of the siblings won't be sticking around for much longer - after Lisa Faulkner, who plays Fi, revealed over the weekend that her days in Walford are numbered.

"We were always clear that there would be a beginning, middle and end," she told the Radio Times.

"Fi was coming in to do a job. She was never going to be a new regular living on the Square and I have absolutely loved it.

"I'm really pleased the secret about Willmott-Brown is now finally out because it's been so huge and I've not been able to tell anybody!

"It's been the best fun to play. I have to say I've loved every single minute of it, I really have."
