HOLLY Willoughby showed off her parenting skills as she cuddled a ‘miracle’ baby during an interview on This Morning.

The presenter, 36, went gooey-eyed as she met baby Molly, who has been branded a miracle after mum Tess Morten gave birth after going through the menopause, age 47.

In fact Holly, who recently hinted she wanted to expand her family, was so smitten that she grabbed the tot and cuddled her throughout the interview, before declaring: “I’m going to keep her.”

Gushing over the baby Holly, who is mum to Belle, Chester and Harry, told the parents: “She is so beautiful. She is so chilled.”

Last week The Sun exclusively revealed that mum Tess stunned the medical world after giving birth to Molly, after doctors had initially thought she had cancer.

The 47-year-old, who was on HRT, had been warned by her GP to “expect the worst” in July last year after complaining for months of feeling bloated, sick  and tired.

She went through the menopause six years earlier after three failed IVF cycles and feared she may have ovarian cancer as she underwent checks.

But rather than having cancer, she was in fact pregnant with Molly – a name which means Miracle.

Speaking on This Morning about her struggle to get pregnant following her marriage to husband Neil, 52, the mum-of-one, admitted she had given up all hope.

She said: “We got a free go at IVF. We did that but that was unsuccessful. So we went for another round and paid for that and unfortunately that didn’t work.

“We then had all the tests under the sun including one blood test that called £900.”

The couple spent £15,000 on two unsuccessful bouts of gruelling IVF treatment.

She continued: “It was heart-breaking, stressful. It was not a nice experience.”

Tess was later told the quality of her eggs were similar to someone going through the menopause, so the couple started looking for other ways to have child, such as fostering.

Then when was 47 she started experiencing pain in her stomach and while doctors feared the worst it couldn’t have been better news.

Tess recalled: “The hospital doctor was looking at the monitor as he rolled the scanner over my stomach and said, ‘Your ovaries are fine but look at this.’

“I looked at the screen and could see a baby. I said, ‘Is this mine?’

“The nurse was holding my hand because I was scared it was bad news. I cried because I never thought it would happen to me.”

When she arrived home to Reading, she whispered the news to husband Neil.

She said: “Neil was worried because I hadn’t phoned. He saw me smirking as I pulled into the drive and came to the door.

“I whispered, ‘It’s not cancer, it’s a baby in my tummy.’ He was mouthing swear words. He was over the moon.”
