Kim Kardashian reveals she’s taking a step back from social media and gushes about motherhood in candid new interview
KIM Kardashian has said her armed robbery ordeal in Paris last year has completely changed how she uses social media.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 36, revealed in a new interview that she no longer shares real-time updates of her whereabouts and is more careful about how much of her life she chooses to share with fans.
Admitting she "gets a lot more anxiety now" about letting people in too much, she told she isn't as fussed about keeping fans updated about her life 24/7.
“It’s funny — so much can go on at home but if you don’t post about it, people think it never happened,” she said.
“So they’ll say, ‘She hasn’t posted with her sisters, she must be in a huge fight.’ But it’s not what consumes me anymore, like how it used to..."
Kim boasts 103 million followers on Instagram and 55 million on Twitter.
She's also known to be active on Snapchat.
A police spokesperson said at the time: "It was really the celebrity who was targeted, with possessions that had been seen and noticed via social media, and it was these goods that the attackers targeted."
Kim was physically unharmed but badly shaken when masked men gained entry to her luxury rented apartment in Paris last year.
She was held at gunpoint, bound, gagged and locked in a bathroom while the armed men ransacked the flat, stealing millions of pounds worth of jewellery.
The reality star has said she thought she'd be raped or killed during the attack - and pleaded with the robbers to spare her because of her young children North, four, and Saint, one.
She and husband Kanye West also have a third child on the way via a surrogate.
In her interview with T Singapore, the brunette insisted her "whole world is my kids".
She said: "It’s all I care about... from literally every last thing that they do to what they wear, to all their activities.
"I love being their mum. I definitely don’t hang out with my friends as much just because I have to be with my kids.”
Kim and rapper Kanye have refused to confirm reports that a third child is on the way.
They have moved the woman into a new home in the suburbs of LA and have provided state-of-the-art security equipment.
Kim and Kanye's surrogate news came after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was vocal about the complications she's encountered during past pregnancies and was even warned last year she could "bleed to death" if she falls pregnant for a third time.
She said on an episode of her E! show: "Getting more kids will definitely be a struggle. I've gone through so much with bad deliveries that the doctors don't feel it's safe for me to conceive again."
Reports of a surrogate surfaced in July, with claiming their chosen surrogate was already three months pregnant.
An insider alleged the woman is in her twenties and was approached by the famous couple through “an agency”.
Kim and Kanye, however, have remained tight-lipped on the rumours of a surrogate carrying their third child, with Kim saying they would talk about their possible baby when they were ready.
She told E! News: “[There’s] so many details out there, and like I've never heard this, I've never heard this.
“Like whatever. We have not confirmed it, and that's that. I'll let you know when we're ready.
“I've definitely seen a lot of things, we've never confirmed anything.”
