Kim Kardashian slams rumours she ‘didn’t respond well’ to sister Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy news
KIM Kardashian has slammed reports she reacted badly to Kylie Jenner's pregnancy.
The reality star - who is said to be expecting a third baby via surrogate with Kanye West - posted a link to a story which suggested she "didn't respond well" to Kylie's news.
A source told the publication: "She didn’t respond well at first.
"It’s like she and Kanye had gone on this whole journey to get pregnant for months, and now this happens to Kylie.
"She teared up. It definitely took a lot of time for her to process it.”
Kim and Kanye have reportedly turned to a surrogate after Kim was advised against carrying another baby after suffering health problems in her previous pregnancies.
Despite her shock,. the source told People she is "happy" for her half sister.
They added: “She’s going to support Kylie 100 percent, no matter what. There’s never been any question about that.
"But it’s just a weird dynamic, after all that Kim did to intentionally have another child.
"It has taken a lot of time, energy and money for her to get pregnant, and now Kylie is having a baby around the same time.”
Kylie has yet to comment publicly about her pregnancy but the 20-year-old’s boyfriend Travis Scott, 25, has been telling friends they are having a daughter, reports .
And the US website claims the rapper has been privately discussing Kylie’s pregnancy with pals for nearly two months.
The news means that Kylie’s baby will be due around January, which is the same time that sister Kim is expecting to welcome her children via surrogate.
Last week, The Sun Online confirmed the news that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is pregnant.
And a spokesman for her father, who was previously known as Bruce, has spoken up to dismiss claims the former Olympian only learned the news online - confirming the news in the process.
The representative told the Sun Online that Caitlyn had been told and added: "All I can tell you is that it was some time ago."
Kylie's mother, Kris Jenner, has refused to confirm the news.
The 'momager' was texted by Keeping Up with the Kardashians' executive producer Ryan Seacrest and replied while he was on air hosting 'Live! With Kelly & Ryan' on Monday.
Ryan said: "By the way, so, Kris says Kylie's not confirming anything. So, that's the news from the family this morning."

And asked about the speculation over the weekend, Kris said: "She's not confirmed anything. I think it's kind of wild that everyone is just assuming that that's just happening."
It has been claimed Kylie's family are "over the moon" with the prospect of a new addition to the family.
A source said: "The family is over the moon! Kylie loves how close knit her family is and is thrilled to bring that to her immediate family. Kylie feels more prepared than ever to be a mom.''
It comes after a source claimed Kylie had "always wanted" to be a young mother.
They shared: "Kylie is doing well and is happy. Kylie always wanted to be a young mom. She may be young, but she's very maternal and has lots of practice with babies! She's a very hands-on aunt and was basically a step-mom to Tyga's kid.
"The baby will be very well cared for and so loved. Kylie is excited that her baby will have cousins close to her age too!"
