Lorraine viewers furious after the show gives away Bake Off exit AND Doctor Foster spoilers – despite the fact they were BOTH on TV last night

Some fans were not happy to see the two biggest shows on TV being discussed the morning after they aired

LORRAINE viewers have accused the show of ruining their catch-up TV by giving away the ending to Doctor Foster and revealing who left the Great British Bake Off last night.

Both shows were on yesterday, but some fans have claimed they had yet to see them - and they now know what happened after they were discussed on Lorraine this morning.

Doctor Foster was a huge topic of discussion this morning and Lorraine Kelly chatted to The Sun's Dan Wootton about the dramatic ending and whether there will be a season three.

She played a clip from the season two finale and revealed that Gemma is left all alone at the end after her son Tom runs away and goes missing.

Later in the show, Lorraine welcomed Bake Off host Sandi Toksvig to talk about last night's episode.

Julia Chernogorova become the sixth baker to get the boot, and the pair chatted about Sandi's emotional reaction to her departure.

Viewers then flocked to Twitter to claim Lorraine should have attached a spoiler alert before giving away the ending to two of TV's most popular shows.

One wrote: "Just glanced at the tv while making a cup of tea and you spoilt last nights bake off for me...ffs..

"Thanks for that..."

Another added: "So you firstly ruined Doctor Foster and now I know who went out of bakeoff 😏 #lorraine."

A third tweeted: "#Lorraine should have come with a spoiler warning this morning! #argh #DrFoster @ITVLorraine."

One determined fan even changed channel to avoid hearing what happened on Doctor Foster, they tweeted: "Switching over because it's on catch up 🙈🙉#lorraine #SpoilerAlert #DoctorFoster..."

Both shows were on TV last night, and many fans were thrilled to see the controversial endings being discussed on Lorraine.

On the Bake Off, Julia got axed after the judges decided her hand-raised pie failed to impress the judges, who declared the pastry was undercooked and her shredded chicken filling was dry.

The show continues next week.

Doctor Foster's dramatic ending, which showed Germma desperately searching for her lost son, may be the end of the road for the show but a new report suggest hope is not lost and the series could come back to TV in 2019.
