Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha reveals her daughter is ‘addicted’ to her phone – as Stacey Solomon says she doesn’t want her nine year old son to even HAVE a mobile

Nadia even went as far as to say she would have been in rehab had she suffered a similar problem with drink

LOOSE Women star Nadia Sawalha has revealed her 14-year-old daughter is "addicted" to her mobile - even suggesting if her vice was booze or drugs, she would be in a treatment facility.

Her comments on today's ITV show came as co-presenter Stacey Solomon admitted she has a phone ban for her nine-year-old Zachary for fear of him "losing the ability to have a conversation."

Nadia, mum to teenager Maddie, candidly admitted: "I believe my daughter is addicted to her phone.

"If she was addicted to drink and some drugs, I would have her in a facility."

As her close pal and fellow panellist Kaye Adams squealed her words were "too harsh" Nadia fired back: "No it's not."

Yet the curly-haired parent-of-two was left a little red-faced when Kaye revealed: "Can I just say, so are you!

"She only knows because she's addicted to her phone. Pot Kettle!"

Meanwhile clearly troubled mum-of-two Stacey admitted she was struggling to maintain her eldest's phone ban.

She told the show she had endured sceptical glances from fellow parents at the school gates whose looks  hinted "good luck with that".

After Kaye, who has given her 10-year-old a mobile, quizzed her about her worries she revealed: "I'm worried about them losing the ability to have a conversation.

"And having their head in a phone

"I'm worried about the internet but I'm worried about them getting involved in social media."

She added: "I'm worried about him not being a child.

"He's nine, he should be riding a bike."
