NADINE Coyle has been forced to deny she was miming on Lorraine.
The former Girls Aloud star performed her comeback single Go to Work on the ITV morning show today and was apparently so good viewers thought she was miming.
In reply she tweeted: “Thank you for all your lovely messages about Lorraine & yes I was singing live I am very flattered some of you thought otherwise.”
Nadine, 32, has been out of the limelight in recent years after moving to America almost a decade ago, but she recently returned to London to raise her daughter Anaiya with her ex-American footballer boyfriend Jason Bell.
She moved to Los Angeles while she was still in Girls Aloud and opened her own restaurant as a side project – though it was recently closed as she returned home.
When the group took a hiatus in 2009, Nadine threw herself into her solo career.
After many reports of failed deals she went on to sign a record contract with Tesco and released her album Insatiable through the supermarket.
Unfortunately it failed to impress, and limped to just number 47 in the charts.
In 2012 Nadine rejoined her former bandmates as Girls Aloud reunited for a celebration of their ten year anniversary.
The tour and comeback single was a huge success but she was blindsided when the other girls decided to call the tour a day, announcing their split on Twitter.
As she geared up to go on stage for the final night in Liverpool’s Echo Arena, she was told by her management the band had made the decision to split for good — without even consulting her.
SOMETHING KINDA BOO HOO Nadine brands Cheryl ‘bitter’ and lifts lid on Girls Aloud back-stabbing and bitching
She explains: “I thought we were going to continue. I thought we were going to do loads and loads of stuff.
“We had songs, we had a three-album deal and it seemed like a great time. Obviously the girls had different plans.
“The very last night, management had come to the room.
“I was all ready, just about to get dressed and they were like, ‘So I know you’re not going to like this, I know you’re not going to agree, but the girls want to split up the band’.
“And I asked Sarah and she was like, ‘I can’t be bothered and I hate everything’.
“Because you know, when you’re on tour everybody gets tired, you’re exhausted.”
