Taylor Swift pays homage to Brit boyfriend Joe Alwyn by filming latest music video in North London kebab shop
WITH a net worth of more than £200million, the last place you would expect to see TAYLOR SWIFT is in a North London kebab shop in the early hours.
But the superstar took in some of the delights of the capital’s Kentish Town over the weekend while making her new video — which pays homage to her romance with Brit boyfriend JOE ALWYN.
The video features some of Taylor’s favourite places she visited incognito when she first started dating the actor.
It includes his local pub and a London night bus.
A source close to the singer said: “The video shows Taylor on a night out. All of the locations are places she has been to with Joe.
“She has spent months quietly going under the radar in London this year and has been out a lot more than anybody realises.
Her video sees her visiting an alleyway, a pub and, most surprisingly, a kebab shop called Kentish Delight.
“It is quite telling that she has been hanging out in these regular and unexpected places.
“She wants to show people she is just a normal girl.”
I revealed Taylor was dating Joe in May and told how she wore wigs and disguises to keep their romance under wraps.
But there was no danger of missing her and her giant entourage at the weekend — her crew numbered more than 60, including a host of extras, backing dancers . . . and even a vet.
It is thought Taylor, who has cats Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, had the vet drafted in to keep an eye on the shoot, which may feature several animals.
Security for filming, which took place from 9pm until 6am, was far more stringent than just a doorman asking for ID.
The source said: “Everything was arranged to the letter because Taylor runs a tight ship.
“She didn’t want any images or snippets of the song to come out so all the crew were searched from head to toe and had to hand over their phones.
“Only one phone was allowed between them for the entire shoot.
“The same went for the 50 extras and six dancers at the filming.”
Taylor releases her sixth record, Reputation, next month — three years after bestseller 1989.
Now that she has a taste for it, she can celebrate the album with a doner.

Tom Keane on EDM move
TOM CHAPLIN is set to light up the dance floor after revealing shock plans to move into electronic dance music.
Just days after announcing festive album Twelve Tales of Christmas, the KEANE frontman said he plans to launch his new career next year after being tapped up by LFO and AVICII.
In an exclusive chat, Tom said: “I’m always getting calls from people in the EDM world, which would be an interesting place to explore.
“With Keane, we had quite a lot of our songs remixed off Hopes and Fears. I know people in that world and they like my voice.
“They imagine it could sound really great on dance records.
“Once this Christmas record is done, I’m going to look at where I’m going to turn next.”
Robert, er, Plant
IT might be 50 years on, but ROBERT PLANT’s flower power days are far from over.
The LED ZEPPELIN frontman became the unlikely hero at a stag do – after hilariously poking fun at his surname by dressing up as a sunflower.
The rocker put aside his pint to change into groom-to-be James Plant’s petal headdress and plant pot costume at the pub in Wollaston, Northants.
Pal Darren Hadlington captured the brilliant moment on his phone as Robert went on to further lend his services by recording a message for a video set to be played at James’s upcoming nuptials.
The singer, who was only in the pub for a quiet drink, was clearly in the mood to let his curly mop down after new solo record Carry Fire was met with rave reviews on its release last week.
That success comes as he shot down months of speculation of a Led Zep reunion on what would be the band’s 50th anniversary next year.
He said: “You can’t ever really go back. It’s tough enough repeating yourself with something that’s a year old, never mind 49 years old. I’ve got to keep moving.”
Dressing up as a sunflower was a move no one expected.
Not another level
THE game’s up for those hoping ANOTHER LEVEL would reunite.
A comeback plan for the Nineties four-piece boyband is in tatters after two failed to commit.
DANE BOWERS said: “Two of the guys were umming and ahhing about it. We were close but just couldn’t do it.”
The band, No1 in 1998 with single Freak Me, mulled over reforming after taking part in ITV2’s The Big Reunion in 2013.
Instead, Dane has turned TV producer with his own take on Come Dine With Me.
He said: “I’m really excited.”
He’ll just need to find another band to sing the theme tune.

Lemonade so pop-ular
X FACTOR girlband LEMONADE are fast breaking into the music industry – by collecting celebrity supporters.
The group, who formed just three weeks before their first audition, already have JASON GARDINER, DENISE WELCH, ANTHEA TURNER and SAM CALLAHAN rooting for them.
And even former England footie captain RIO FERDINAND has sent them a good luck message.
The girls – SHANIA, YIMI SAFFRON, MYA and CHILEE – had one of the show’s most nail-biting sing-offs ever as they got through the Six Chair Challenge and made it to SIMON COWELL’s Judge’s House in Nice, where they’ll perform for CHERYL.
Good luck to them – they’re such a talented bunch of girls.
Pixie's up fur party
PIXIE LOTT is throwing herself back into work with her new single.
Days after releasing the video for catchy new dance track Won’t Forget You, featuring rapper STYLO G, she was on stage belting out her hits at Festifeel on Saturday.
The one-day party – hosted by Radio 6’s LAUREN LAVERNE at House of Vans in Waterloo, South London – was to raise money for breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!.
Bake Off winner CANDICE BROWN also showed her support.
Other performers included FLEUR EAST and BASEMENT JAXX.
Pixie took to the stage in this fur jacket and a big pair of sunnies.
That just about sums up the British weather in one outfit.
