Tommy Mallet NOT leaving Towie despite saying he wanted to ‘concentrate on his businesses’ as he’s spotted filming scenes with Jon Clark
TOMMY Mallet has denied quitting Towie after reports claimed the Essex based entrepreneur was walking away from the reality show to concentrate on his fashion brand.
The 25-year-old has been spotted filming scenes for The Only Way is Essex alongside girlfriend Georgia Kousoulou and close pal Jon Clark.
Speaking exclusively to Sun Online, Tommy said: "I'm not leaving. I'm not going anywhere yet but sometimes you have heated moments, that's all it is.
"I'm back filming and I'm having fun at the moment."
Tommy added: "It's like any job. I don't have my future written down for anything I'm doing so everything just works on an as-and-when basis.
"It's probably the same for everyone. People walk into work pi**ed off on a Monday and think 'I'm leaving."
Pictures of emerged of Tommy back filming scenes for the ITVBe show with Georgia, Jon and Chloe Lewis.
The reality stars filmed their segment at a health food cafe in Brentwood. While the girls were seen indulging in the grub, Tommy seemed less than impressed.
Just a month ago Tommy sparked worry among fans that he’d quit the show after he lashed out on social media following accusations that he and Georgia were “bullying” Megan McKenna.
Taking to Twitter, he fumed: "After watching that scene... the only way is Essex can go f*** themselves... Thats all I'm saying..."
He quickly deleted the post but went on to suggest he would now focus solely on his growing footwear brand.
"I think now is the time to go do what I've got to do with my own life..." wrote Tommy.
He continued: "It's mad... How boring would the show be if someone never spoke out of turn like I do?"
A Towie source has since said Tommy was not responsible for the social media outburst.
The insider revealed: "He's filming and happy - he claims he never sent those tweets and he's still on the show."
Earlier this week, news reports suggested that Tommy was leaving Towie to focus on his business ventures.
He reportedly told The Daily Star: “I owe a lot to the show and I will always be part of it but it’s time to concentrate on my businesses.
“I’m working two jobs and I’m in big important meetings one day and on Towie the next getting ag, swearing and calling someone something too rude to print!”
Tommy took to Twitter to slam the reports, writing: "Just been alerted to today's press. I'm currently back filming @OnlyWayIsEssex and am happy / grateful to be doing so right now."
