The X Factor reveals the Wildcard twist will be happening TONIGHT as viewers get to put hopefuls through to the live shows
Host Dermot O'Leary confirmed details of the twist would be revealed at the end of Sunday's episode
X Factor host Dermot O'Leary confirmed viewers will see a Wildcard twist take place in tonight's episode.
Speaking last night, the popular presenter revealed fans will learn more "details of this year's Wildcard vote" at the end of tonight's Judges Houses episode.
It is believed that four Wildcard acts will be given a chance to go through to the Live Shows, with the public voting for one act in each category.
The full Top 12 will be known by the end of tonight's episode when Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh pick their finalists for the Groups and the Overs.
Walsh's boys will jet off to Istanbul in a bid to impress him and guest judge Mika, while Cowell's groups are off to the French Riviera where they are met by the mogul and Cheryl.
Last night saw Nicole Scherzinger keep Kevin Davy White, Tracy Leanna Jefford and Matt Linnen in the Overs.
While Sharon Osbourne put Holly Tandy, Rai-Elle Williams and Grace Davies through in Girls category.
It meant disappointment for Talia Dean, Berget Lewis and the exuberant Slavko who were sent packing in the judges' houses section of the competition where they had performed for Scherzinger and guest judge Stormzy.
While Alisah Bonaobra, Georgina Panton and Deanna fell at the final hurdle as they were omitted from Osbourne's final three.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed grime star Stormzy and One Direction singer Liam Payne will be the first artists performing on the Live Shows.
The pair will show the show's hopefuls how it's done when they take to the stage as guest stars when the live shows kick off next week.
Liam will be performing his new single Bedroom Floor on Saturday, while Stormzy will rock the stage on Sunday.
