Gemma Collins hints she will QUIT Towie again to pursue a music career after she was forced to turn down debut single in summer
GEMMA Collins has hinted she could quit The Only Way is Essex to launch a music career.
The reality star is one of the most popular cast members of the ITVBe show.
But speaking exclusively to The Sun Online at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday, Gemma revealed she could take a break from filming to try and conquer the charts.
She said: "I like singing, I'd say I'm more of a garage girl.
"I have been offered to bring out a record actually, I was offered to do a record in the summer but I've been so busy."
Gemma, 36, then revealed singer Charli XCX wanted to collaborate with her.
She explained: "The one that sings Boys, it was dubbed with me saying 'girls' and she wants to do a collaboration as well.
"I mean guys I'm going to have to take the whole of the next year off just to collaborate with the pop stars.
"It needs to be a documentary, so yeah something's going to happen."
It wouldn't be the first time Gemma has quit Towie, having taken a break from the show in 2015.
The star - who took a dramatic tumble while on stage at the awards show and fell through a trap door - returned a year later in September 2016 and has become nothing short of an Internet sensation ever since.
Her fall was no exception, with Gemma being one of the first to share a hilarious meme of herself with the words 'Have you had an accident at work?' across it.
Gemma was able to laugh off the incident, which came after she announced the winner of the Best TV Show.
During an interview with the ceremony's hosts Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw, Gemma said: “Do you know what, apart from stacking it on stage? I’m having the best time of my life!”
