PIERS Morgan is the Good Morning Britain host who never holds back when it comes to letting people know what he thinks.
However, Piers is STILL not co-hosting with Susanna Reid today (May 6) despite testing negative for coronavirus.
Why is Piers Morgan not hosting GMB today?
Piers Morgan revealed on Sunday (May 3) he was having a coronavirus test on the advice of his doctor after suffering mild symptoms.
He tweeted: "UPDATE: On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back".
But on Monday evening (May 4), his fans were relieved when the test came back negative.
Piers said: "UPDATE: My COVID-19 test was negative.
"I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a Govt-designated essential worker. I'll be back on @GMB as soon as my doctor advises I'm OK to return to work."
Who is replacing Piers Morgan this week?
Ben Shephard will stand in for Piers while he is away.
Ben is a veteran GMB host and has filled in for Piers in the past.
He also hosts every Friday.
On Friday, May 1, the Tipping Point host updated fans on Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper.
The 45-year-old said: "He is still with us but what a battle it is."
Ranvir Singh said: "It's a dreadful time and I think she's at home with two children and trying to keep it going. It's a total unknown. But as she said, as long as he's here there's absolute hope."
Ben added: "Twenty four hours at a time and she rightly pointed out, he's getting extraordinary care.
"She gets the chance to phone in the evenings and talk to him."
