THE X Factor's Sam Black has LOST his voice just days before the live shows.
The 20-year-old is currently on voice rest after losing his voice during rehearsals earlier this week.
Sam famously landed his spot in the competition after he was called in to replace Anthony Russell at Judge's Houses.
Anthony was booted from the ITV talent show after failing a drugs test and Sam won the coveted spot.
Boys mentor Louis Walsh said he chose Sam due to the "great reaction" that viewers had to him.
Sam won the viewers' hearts after he proposed to his girlfriend and the mother of his child live on stage at Boot Camp.
But now his dream of making it as a singer could be in jeopardy as he struggles with his voice.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: "I'm not used to singing all the time and I think I've done too much practice.
"I'm really nervous about it, I wasn't too worried on Wednesday night but yesterday morning I was working with the vocal coach and it went completely.
"I was really shocked, I didn't think it was that bad. I'm just gonna do my best and have lots of hot lemon and honey."
Sam has an extra day to rest his voice as Louis' Boys aren't performing until Sunday night alongside Sharon's Girls.
"I think that'll help. I just need to make sure I don't do too much talking," Sam said.
"I am quite nervous, I've never really done gigs before and it's live as well so if my voice goes the whole nation sees it. I'm sure it'll be alright on the night but I am nervous."

The news comes as it was revealed that the format of the ITV talent show will be changing dramatically this weekend.
There will be eight acts performing on Saturday and Sunday night as the Wildcard acts are revealed.
Nicole's Overs and Simon's Groups will perform on Saturday and one act will go home each night.
The two acts with the highest amount of votes from each night will then compete against each other for an amazing "money can't buy" career enhancing prize.
The judges no longer have a vote on who goes home with eliminations being entirely based on the public vote.
There will also be performances from star guests on both nights with Liam Payne performing on Saturday and Stormzy taking to the stage on Sunday.
