Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon ‘says’ her EX boyfriend’s name instead of Joe Swash’s during marriage discussion on live TV
The panellists were discussing an egg-timer designed to help couple's listen to each other speak when some viewers thought they heard her say her old boyfriend's name
LOOSE Women viewers thought they heard a major gaffe on today's show as Stacey Solomon appeared to say her ex-boyfriend's name during a live TV chat.
The panel, made up of Andrea McLean, Anne Diamond and Kaye Adams, were discussing an egg-timer designed to help couples listen to each other when the alleged mistake was made.
Talking about the timer's three-minute intervals in which only one half of the couple is allowed to speak, Stacey said: "Can I have extra... oh thanks goodness, because I'd be like ding wait a second hold it right there, I've got plenty more where that came from."
Taking to Twitter one viewer was convinced the star had got her names muddled. writing: "Is @JoeSwashTV real name dean @StaceySolomon? Because you said dean on @loosewomen 😂"
However, a spokesman for the star denied there was any mention of her ex and said Stacey was simply misheard and her words taken out of context.
Stacey is currently in a relationship with actor Joe Swash, with the pair regularly seen looking smitten together.
Mum-of-two Stacey's eldest son Zachary, nine, came out of her previous relationship with teenage sweetheart Dean Cox.
Last week Stacey and her co-panellists Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams tried out a urine facial in a bid to look more youthful.
But while the trio appeared to enjoy wiping wee on their faces, viewers at home could barely believe their eyes.
The ladies, who were later joined in the trial by Denise Van Outen, tried out the latest trend to find out whether it really could give them younger looking skin.
While all the Loose Women panellists were invited to try it out, the show’s host Andrea McLean admitted she’d decided to opt out.
Wiping her face with a cotton pad soaked in her own wee, Kaye told the cameras: “I can't exactly say it's knocked years off me, but it felt quite nice on my skin.”
She then went overboard and admitted it was nice because her urine was still warm.
But Stacey wasn’t so keen and admitted she would never do it again.
Those at home were stunned by what they were seeing, with many going online to express their horror.
One wrote: “No! It's waste product filtered through your kidneys....gross!”
Another agreed with Kaye however and told the panel: “My mum used to wipe my face with my nappy obviously when I was a baby…but everyone says I don’t look my age.”
