Towie’s Gemma Collins leaves Essex in tears after Chloe Sims tells her she can’t JUST be friends with Arg because of their past
Gemma will look to go on holiday in tonight's episode to escape her drama but is tracked down by Arg in a last ditch effort to resolve their situation. But will he succeed?
CHLOE Sims insists Gemma Collins can't be friends with her ex James 'Arg' Argent following their romantic past.
Her words of advice, which fans will see in tonight's episode, come just days after Arg friend-zoned an emotional Gemma.
The GC doesn't seem to take Chloe's words too well, with pictures from the episode showing a tearful Gemma.
Stressed with her troubled love life, Gemma looks to go abroad for a relaxing holiday, but after hearing Bobby Norris's take on the situation, Arg seeks out Gemma to try and resolve their issues. But will Gemma go away happy?
Elsewhere, Georgia Kousoulou is struggling to deal with her emotions when it comes to the prospect of marriage.
She confides in Amber Dowding and Ruby Lacey about her fears for her future and whether marriage really is for her. Reflecting on her own parents' divorce, she breaks down as she admits her outlook has changed.
Meanwhile her boyfriend Tommy Mallet gives his take on Georgia's doubts to Nathan Massey and Gatsby before the pair go for dinner later that day to talk things through. Can Tommy help Georgia see a way forward?
Amber Turner is once again overly emotional whenever the subject of Dan Edgar is raised and it seems the pair can't be with or without each other. When they do come face to face Amber insists the only way they can move forward is by cutting contact.
The drama continues in The Only Way Is Essex, on Wednesday 1st November at 10pm on ITVBe.
Gemma burst into tears during Sunday night’s episode of Towie when her Arg told her he “just wanted to be friends."
The veteran reality star broke down after asking Arg why he went into her room late at night to “check on” her if he wasn’t interested in her romantically.
Sitting in her room, Gemma told Arg: “There is something between us!
“We hug each other all the time! I know we're just friends, but in my head I think it's a shame sometimes.”
When Arg turned down her advances, she demanded to know why she came into her room.
Arg went red and tried to laugh it off, but Gemma didn’t see the funny side.
Placing her hands over her face, she told him: “I have got feelings but it’s pointless me saying that, because nothing is going to change.”
As Arg went to hug her, Gemma asked him tearfully what was “so bad” about herself.
THE ONLY WAY IS LOVE? 6 of Towie’s most legendary power couples – from Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright to Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna
He replied: “There's nothing bad about you at all!
“I just love you as a friend. We can't see each other, as that is leading you on and giving you mixed signals, and that isn't right.”
Wiping away her tears, Gemma told him: “That's it then. No friends with benefits. We're pulling the plug.”
Earlier in the evening, Gemma had joked about her relationship with the Celebs Go Dating star – even telling Lauren Pope and Bobby Norris that her spirit friend told her they would “have a baby” in the future.
Since finding out her chance of romance with Arg was history, Gemma has now moved on with another of her former flames.
Yesterday The Sun revealed she was dating her ex-boyfriend, jailbird Stephen Mortimer after they re-connected following his release from prison.
A source told The Sun: “She has forgiven him for hurting her and they are hoping for a fresh start.
"They have a lot of fun together, a strong connection, and she really enjoys his company and he makes her laugh.
“It’s easy for them to spend time together. She’s keen to settle down and have kids and she hopes Stephen could be the answer.”
