Proud Amy Childs celebrates being crowned Celebrity Mum Of The Year with daughter Polly
AMY Childs has been crowned the 3D-lipo Celebrity Mum of the Year.
Attending last night's ceremony at London's Soho Hotel with her six-month-old daughter Polly, Amy, 27, posed for pictures holding her award in one hand and her girl in the other.
She looked delighted to have won, while Polly couldn't keep her hands off the trophy.
It was a tough field in this year's competition, with Polly finishing ahead of the likes of Kate Middleton, Cheryl, Coleen Rooney and Binky Felstead.
Roy Cowley, Managing Director for 3D-lipo, posed with Amy for a picture, and he previously said:"Being a mum is a juggling act between career and valuable family time. At 3D-lipo, we want to recognise the celebrities who are admired by the public for doing a great job of being a parent, whether new to the role or well experienced in motherhood – and that is exactly what the 3D-lipo Celebrity Mum Of The Year Award sets out to celebrate every year."
Last month Amy signed up for a baby first aid class after facing a string of criticisms over her parenting style.
The former Towie star welcomed daughter Polly in April and she has now taken a course to help her deal with medical emergencies.
Amy, 27, is raising her little girl alone after splitting from jail bird boyfriend Bradley Wright in June, just two months after the birth.
She has been documenting life as a single mum on social media, regularly sharing pictures and tips on Instagram.
But some mums have not been happy with Amy's parenting style and they've slammed her online.
She has now revealed she signed up for a baby first aid class to make sure she is always prepared in case of disaster.
Amy took to Instagram to share a picture of herself holding a dummy baby and carrying out CPR.
She told fans she spent two hours learning about how to cope with issues such as illness and choking - and she urged other mums to take part.
In a message posted online, she wrote: "I did an amazing Daisy First Aid parent class today, only took 2 hours of my time.
"I learnt so much from how to put a baby in the recovery position, how to deal with fevers, head injuries, meningitis as well as baby resuscitation & CPR and choking.
"EVERY parent needs to do one!!... Thank you so much @jennie_daisyfirstaid."
Fans recently rushed to her defence after she was accused of not putting sun cream on Polly.
The 27-year-old came under fire from cruel trolls when she posted a picture of her five month old sitting on a sun bed with her during a holiday in Cape Verde.
In the image Amy was seen wearing a plunging swimsuit while holding her little one who looks a little hot and bothered.
The former Towie star captioned the shot: “When polly isn't impressed with having to top up the Sun cream 😳”.
But while Amy, who was hanging out at the Bikini Beach Club, had clearly told her followers Polly was wearing sun cream, some trolls seemed to think otherwise.
In now deleted comments, the nasty keyboard warriors suggested Polly looked a little pink because she wasn’t wearing cream.

It’s not the first time Amy has found herself at the centre of a baby debate - earlier this month she caused a stir when she told fans she wanted to wean her daughter – despite NHS advice not to do so until the child is six months.
Amy gave birth to her daughter Polly in April. Just six weeks later she split from Polly’s dad Bradley Wright.
