ASTON Merrygold and his Strictly dance partner Janette Manrara were left in hysterics when Zoe Ball’s son called her live on tonight’s It Takes Two.

The presenter was mid-interview with one of this year’s star pairings when her son Woody decided to give her a call.

“Just let me turn my phone off.”

Smiling, she let them know who it was, saying: “It’s my son.”

The pair loved her blasé attitude and burst out laughing.

Zoe then quipped: “Where am I? Oh yes we’re in the studio.”

Just days ago fans blasted Strictly for showing pop’s Aston doing a Halloween dance in a graveyard.

A clip screened before the JLS star performed his paso doble on Saturday saw him rehearsing in the cemetery.

Horrified viewers found the clip disrespectful and unnecessary to use as entertainment

Ballroom partner Janette, 33, was with him among the tombstones.

Horrified BBC1 viewers who then saw the singer, 29, take to the studio dance floor in skeleton make-up slammed the clip as disgusting.
