Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard sparks more romance rumours with Mollie King as he says ‘she falls in love with me’ and posts cosy selfie
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard has once again added fuel to rumours he’s more than just friends with Mollie King, by saying she 'falls in love' with him during their upcoming dance.
The pro-dancer also treated fans to a behind-the-scenes shot, showing him and The Saturdays singer in an embrace, after causing a stir on It Takes Two.
In the picture Mollie, 30, couldn’t have looked happier as she wrapped her arm around the 22-year-old, who is sticking out his tongue for the fun picture.
AJ captioned the image: “Awesome Week Training - can’t wait for our studio day NOW 🎥 ... 😝😜 #Foxtrot @bbcstrictly @mollieking.”
It came after they put on a very cosy appearance on It Takes Two last night and discussed their upcoming Foxtrot dance.
Explaining the dance, AJ said: "Mollie is a Hollywood superstar. She's there and I'm her assistant and I'm helping her.
"I'm taking her coat off, I'm taking her glasses and I save her at the beginning - she falls.
"And then she falls in love with me afterwards."
The show’s host Zoe Ball quizzed him: "She falls in love with you or you fall in love with her?"
Trying to clarify he added: “She physically falls, I catch her and then she falls in love with me."
Mollie laughed, saying: "Obviously."
AJ hit back asked her: "Who wouldn't fall in love with me?"
The pair have become almost inseparable since starting the show and while they have both denied they are dating, AJ’s dad recently declared that they are like a “married couple” and head Judge Shirley Ballas praised them for their “very believable chemistry.”
Adrian, opened up about his son’s relationship with the “beautiful” singer, admitting he wouldn’t rule out a romance after the couple have grown close during a series of romantic walks together.
He told the : “Anybody would like Mollie, she is a very beautiful lady, she has a great personality – what is there not to like? They are spending more time with each other than a married couple would do.”
Meanwhile Mollie admitted she feels “embarrassed” dancing provocatively on television and she finds it “really awkward” when she has to get close and intimate with AJ in a dance routine when their parents are watching.

Speaking to the , the Hair Down hitmaker said: “I remember thinking, 'I've never done this before'. It was terrifying. I thought I'd be suited to the Latin dances with those loose movements, but actually I'm more comfortable in ones like the waltz where I'm in AJ's arms, where he's got me rather than me shaking it on my own. It's like a security blanket, I guess.
“Now that is really awkward. I mean, you're so close your bodies are touching and oh my goodness it's a strange feeling. It was a bit 'you are invading my body space' at first, but the thing is it's all so normal for AJ.
"He was saying things like, 'Pull your face into me and look passionate' and I was saying 'AJ, your mum's going to be in the audience'. I found it all so embarrassing.”
