Amy Childs reveals brand new shorter hair style as she ditches the extensions for stunning shoulder length locks
AMY Childs has revealed a brand new ‘do on Instagram.
The star is known for her long flowing, deep red-brown locks, but has decided to ditch the extensions for a stunning new style which has gone down a storm on Instagram.
Posting a new pic of herself on the photo-sharing site, the mum-of-one added a star crown filter before declaring: “Short hair, don’t care.”
Her new style has been praised by fans, with one saying: Stunning .so down to earth such and a lush mummy . Xxx”
A second agreed and said: “It looks lush babe xxx”
While another reassured her: “huni long hair or short hair you will still be stunningly beautiful xx”
Another joked there was a secret motive behind the style as they jested: “I did the same when baby came . No time to wash hair 😂 “
Amy’s new look comes just after being announced as Celebrity Mum of the Year.
The former Towie star, who has six-month-old daughter Polly, was named at the beginning of November as this year’s celebrity mum over Coleen Rooney, Cheryl and Binky Felstead.
Roy Cowley, Managing Director for award sponsor 3D-lipo, posed with Amy for a picture, and previously said: "Being a mum is a juggling act between career and valuable family time.
“At 3D-lipo, we want to recognise the celebrities who are admired by the public for doing a great job of being a parent, whether new to the role or well experienced in motherhood – and that is exactly what the 3D-lipo Celebrity Mum Of The Year Award sets out to celebrate every year."
Last month Amy signed up for a baby first aid class after facing a string of criticisms over her parenting style.
The former Towie star welcomed daughter Polly in April and she has now taken a course to help her deal with medical emergencies.
Amy, 27, is raising her little girl alone after splitting from jail bird boyfriend Bradley Wright in June, just two months after the birth.
She told fans she spent two hours learning about how to cope with issues such as illness and choking - and she urged other mums to take part.
In a message posted online, she wrote: "I did an amazing Daisy First Aid parent class today, only took 2 hours of my time.
"I learnt so much from how to put a baby in the recovery position, how to deal with fevers, head injuries, meningitis as well as baby resuscitation & CPR and choking.
"EVERY parent needs to do one!!... Thank you so much @jennie_daisyfirstaid."
