Mark Wright reveals he calls wife Michelle Keegan ’20 times a day’ as their work lives keep them apart
The sappy former Towie star revealed that he keeps his marriage to the stunning actress off social media and that the distance adds some romance into their lives in an intimate new interview.
MARK Wright has revealed that he talks to wife Michelle Keegan up to twenty times a DAY on the phone as their hectic work schedules keep them apart.
The Towie-star-turned-TV-presenter has hit back at rumours that the couple’s two-year marriage is in trouble and insisted that Michelle remains “the most special person in the world” to him.
In order to keep their relationship more personal, the pair have opted to keep their married life away from social media.
Speaking to , he said: “We speak 20 times a day. We see each other more than people know. I’ve flown there. She’s flown here.”
He added: “It’s not that we want to hide it – it’s just we want that moment together on our own.
"She’s my wife – the most special person in the world to me.”
Mark is currently trying to crack America and is currently in LA presenting TV show Extra, while Michelle has been caught up in Malaysia filming for her TV drama, Our Girl.
The pair plan to move Stateside in 2018 once Michelle has finished filming and can take time to relocate.
Mark – who was known as somewhat of a womaniser before he met his wife – admitted that it makes him feel good that he’s married to “the world’s most beautiful woman”.
He also revealed that the distance has helped keep the romance alive in ways, as it means that they are able to miss each other before they reunite.
He told the paper: “The one thing people need to know for sure is we’re going to be together for ever.”
In a rare moment of public affection, Mark posted a message to his wife on Instagram back in October, announcing how much he missed her.
Taking photos from inside a nightclub night out, Mark wrote: "Bored!! Nothing is good without you!! Hollywood club or not, just not the same. 2 months hurry up"
He followed it with a picture of himself swigging a drink over which he wrote "lightweight", before posting another selfie looking dishevelled.
