FANS of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were left shocked when The Sun exclusively revealed how the showbiz couple had split up.
The This Morning hosts have been married for well over a decade and are now divorcing.
When did Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford get married?
Eamonn Holmes married longtime partner Ruth Langsford in 2010.
They met in 1997 through a mutual friend.
They got married at Elvetham Hall in Hampshire and sold the rights to glossy mag Hello!.
Before announcing their split, Ruth had been helping nurse Eamonn back to good health after chronic pain in his back resulted in him spending time in hospital.
In May 2024, the Loose Women host updated fans on her husband’s health and said: “I look at Eamonn, who’s had his health and back problems, and it makes you realise how important your health is.
“I don’t know how much Eamonn’s mobility will improve.
“We live in hope. He does the physio, but there might have to be some acceptance that this might never be 100 percent right.”

The couple are heading for divorce after “drifting apart” and “work commitments”.
A spokesperson for the couple said in a statement to The Sun on Sunday: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
The much-loved presenting duo are now negotiating a divorce.
Pals told how the couple had started “drift apart” as far back as 2021.
Sources also told The Sun their work commitments had “taken them in different directions”.
But they added that the pair were determined to stay friends and “keep things amicable”.
The couple were were also last seen together on social media two years ago in 2022.

Their son Jack Alexander was born in 2002.
Eamonn has three other children from his first marriage to Gabrielle Holmes – daughter Rebecca and sons Declan and Niall.
Ruth was not married before Eamonn and Jack is her only child.
