X Factor in chaos as contestants hit with mystery bug just days before next live shows
THE X Factor has been plunged into "chaos" after a number of finalists have reportedly been struck ill.
The Price Brothers, Holly Tandy and Matt Linnen are all said to have been hit by a mystery bug, causing bosses to worry they may not be fit enough to perform on this weekend's live shows.
According to the , producers are concerned that George Michael night will be plunged into uncertainty due to the bug sweeping through the current show roster.
A source told the newspaper: "They've started dropping like flies. They're all having early nights and resting their bodies and voices."
The acts affected by the bug are said to be under strict orders to rest up, and have been told to drink honey.
The insider also opened-up about explaining that any no shows might seriously affect plans.
"We can't afford no-shows - there are two double evictions, so four acts are going to get the boot."
The Sun Online has contacted a representative of the show for comment.
Last weekend Tracey Leanne Jefford got the boot from the show, becoming the fourth act to be eliminated from this year's competition.
Holly, Grave Davies and Ria-Elle remain in the Girls category, while Sam Black and Lloyd Macey remain in the Boys.
Joining the Price brothers in the groups are Rak-Su and The Cutkelvins, while Matt is joined by Kevin Davey White.
