James ‘Arg’ Argent hints he wants a baby with Gemma Collins TOO after pair grow closer again
A REALITY TV baby could be on the cards for TOWIE's Gemma Collins and her ex James 'Arg' Argent after he admitted "stranger things have happened".
The pair shared a friendly kiss on the ITV Gala's red carpet last night - weeks after Gemma ended their on-off romance for good when Arg refused to jet off to Tenerife with her.
But Arg has left the door open for a possible reconciliation after Gemma revealed future plans to have a baby with him.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Arg said: "We'll have to wait and see.
"Stranger things have happened. Who knows what the future might hold.
"Coming back to TOWIE, I spent a lot more time with Gemma. We just get on so well.
"She's admitted her feeling towards me, but at the moment I need to concentrate on myself for the time being."
The reality star had just flown back from a juice camp in Portugal before arriving at the star-studded event at the London Palladium last night.
After years of yo-yo dieting, the 29-year-old has pledged to try and stick to his healthy lifestyle following a series of rehab stints.
Arg said: "I'm trying my best, but I just want to try and maintain it. Although I do love a curry."
He even turned to God to battle his demons earlier this year - hoping his newfound faith will stop him from going down the wrong path.
After losing four stone over summer, Arg revealed he had been left feeling his nose was too big - and unveiled the results of going under the knife.
Since then he has appeared on E4's Celebs Go Dating, which left fans cringing as he slobbered over his food and awkwardly flirted on dates.
Arg added: "I had such a fun time on Celebs Go Dating.
"I got to go on some really good dates and meet new people.
"It came at a really good time for me.
"I've got a few other shows coming up too which is good."
The 21st series of The Only Way is Essex came to a dramatic end last weekend weeks after Arg returned to the hit ITVBe show.
It saw an emotional split between him and the GC who pleaded with him to jet away with her to Tenerife.
But viewers were left distraught when he rejected her by refusing to board the plane.
Gemma told him: "I can't make you like me, I can't make you love me.
"But I don't know if you will find this thing with anyone else.
"You're the one person I constantly care for."
