TWO GOOD TO GO

X Factor MASSIVE shake-up as bosses shock contestants with another exciting twist this weekend

The X Factor finalists will be relieved after bosses confirm only TWO acts will be leaving this weekend, not four

THE X Factor bosses have had a last minute shake-up ahead of this weekend's live shows and decided NOT to eliminate four acts.

Simon Cowell has stepped in to allow the public more time to get behind their favourite hopefuls.

Find out what The X Factor 2017 contestants think of the judges!

At the end of last Sunday's live show, Dermot O'Leary announced that FOUR acts would be leaving this weekend.

But now a source close to The X Factor has revealed: "There is some great talent on the show this year.

"Simon thinks it's unfair to cut the numbers so drastically when contestants are doing so well."

They added: "Talent this year is exceptional and with less weeks of live shows producers want to give them more time to shine and more time for the audiences to pick their favourites."

An X Factor spokesperson has told Sun Online: "This weekend's show will feature one act leaving on Saturday and one act leaving on Sunday."

Finalist Matt Linnen revealed that the competition is heating up: "It's tough. The whole thing has been tough but you've just got to do your thing and hope for the best. When you look around, I've got no idea who is going to go."
