X Factor’s Lloyd Macey reveals Simon Cowell has been ‘demanding’ his Nan’s fish finger sandwiches
LLOYD Macey has revealed his Nan will be coming armed with fish finger sandwiches when she visits him on-set for this weekend’s X Factor Live Shows – but they’re all for big boss Simon Cowell.
The singer, 23, told The Sun Online that Simon – who’s on the mend after a fall at his London home earlier this month – demanded some fish finger butties and his Nan was eager to cater to the music mogul's needs.
He said: “My Nan has been to every show so far and she’s coming up tomorrow. She’s bringing fish finger sandwiches for Simon because he demanded them last weekend!”
Lloyd says his Nan is loving coming to London for the live shows and is backing him all the way.
He added: “She’s my biggest fan! She’s a massive part of my life. This experience is for me and my Nan. She’s loving this X Factor journey as much as I am!”
This week on X Factor, the Contestants will be paying tribute to the late George Michael, and Lloyd will be belting out the star’s touching hit A Different Corner.
Lloyd says he and his fellow contestants familiarised themselves with George’s work by watching his recent Channel 4 documentary.
He said: “I wasn’t familiar with the song until I watched the George Michael documentary on Channel 4.
"George was a fantastic writer and although he had his fame and fortune, he had his demons. it’s a really emotional song.
"Simon said last weekend that he wants me to show my vulnerabilities when I sing – so that’s what I’m going to do.
“All the Contestants watched the George Michael documentary together in the house.”
Lloyd also talked about recent reports Sharon Osbourne had to have words with Grace over her diva behaviour.
He said: “I haven’t witnessed any diva behaviour to be honest. I was nervous about going to the house, but everyone is so lovely. It’s such a nice atmosphere. We all get on.
“Grace is a lovely girl – I can’t imagine her being a diva.”
