X Factor viewers upset as Rak-Su add own rap lyrics to classic George Michael song

X Factor viewers were left upset this evening as Rak-Su decided to add their own rap lyrics to George Michael’s Faith.

The group, Rak-Su J, Ashley Rak-Su, Pharoahcious, and Myles Rak-Su, were heard rapping about the likes of ‘Netflix and chill’ during the classic track.

The judges however loved the version, with Simon even claiming that Faith would probably sound like their version if it was recorded in this day and age.

While the boys are the current favourite to win, those at home felt they “disrespected” the late Wham singer.

One person wrote: “Rak-Su No No Nooooo. How can you ruin a George Michael song. So wrong!! You can’t change the original 🤮#xfactoruk #XFactor2017 @TheXFactor #XFactor.”

While another commented: “Think that including so little of the original song was a bit disrespectful of Rak-su #XFactor.”

And someone else added: "Sorry, I don't remember George Michael saying 'Girl, you look so fine' in any of his songs."

Nicole was more impressed though, telling them: “What a great way to open George Michael week. Bridging the gap between the old school and new the school. I love the way you stuck to the integrity of the song .”

While Simon gushed: “You are current, you are relevant. This is what the record would probably sound like if it was made today.

“I do believe, I don’t want to jinx it, but I think we are watching stars in the making.”
