MICHAEL BUBLE may have swerved the opportunity to host the Brits next year.
But his British fans can at least take consolation from the fact the Canadian superstar will be making his music comeback on these shores.
The crooner will headline British Summer Time Hyde Park next July, his first big gig since his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer last November.
Thankfully the youngster is responding well to treatment meaning Michael’s career is now no longer on hold.
A music insider said: “This is a sure-fire sign Michael’s big return is happening.
“He’s not going to play hundreds of gigs, he’ll ease himself back into it.
“The Hype Park gig is likely to be his only UK show in 2018.”
Michael was due to present the Brit Awards last February but pulled out to focus on Noah’s battle with liver cancer.
And I revealed last month he decided against taking the reigns for the 2018 show to be by Noah’s side.
I’m sure his July 13 date in London is going to be an emotional night.
