X FACTOR'S hopefuls let out some home truths as they took part in our Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down game.
Ahead of the live shows last weekend, the gang were challenged to tell us what they really think about a series of taboo topics - including whether they use their phone on the loos, whether they approve of online dating, and whether they should kiss on the first date.
Surprisingly, nearly every hopeful admits to passing time on the toilet by using their mobiles.
Lloyd Macey, who went on to win the week's prize fight, said: "I am guilty of using my phone on the toilet. It's usually listening to music on my earphones.
"I don't know if it's hygienic, but, yeah...I do it!"
"That's why I take so long on the toilet!" admitted Joel Fishel. "I get distracted and lost!"
Shereen from the Cutkelvins revealed that she had someone split up to her via text - while her brother Jay played it coy with his answer, switching from a Yes to a No before his siblings would notice.
The siblings were also split in their thoughts on white lies, with Kyle Cutkelvin admitted: "I love lying!"
The boys of Rak-Su were nearly all in agreement that a kiss on a first date was the right way to go - except Mustafa, who said that a "nice firm handshake" was more appropriate.
He also clashed with the boys over spicy food, telling them that he CRIED last time he tried something too hot for him.
However, the group finally came to an agreement with one thing - their love of heartbreaker flick The Notebook, with Myles proudly declaring it a "bad boy film".
Well, at least we know what they get up to on movie night.
Jack and Joel, who unfortunately went on to lose their place during George Michael week, approved of online dating.
"It's the only way he's going to get a date!," joked Jack, as Joel confessed he was a frequent swiper - especially when on the loo.
