Dancing On Ice’s Brooke Vincent hints training is not going well as she shares snap of herself sprawled on the rink
DANCING On Ice's Brooke Vincent has hinted training is not going well as she shared a snap of herself sprawled on the rink.
The Coronation Street star still managed to look good even though she face planted onto the ice.
She captioned the snap: "If You’re Gonna Mess Up At Least Be Best Dressed When You Do ⛸🧤💅🏽".
The actress was wearing a slick colour coordinated outfit for her training session with her name emblazoned on the back of her bright pink top.
She wore black leggings with a pink stripe down the side and matching pink gloves to protect her hands.
Brooke recently joked that she had gone on a diet to fit into the tight leotards which dancers are required to wear on the show.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, who front the ITV competition, Brooke said she couldn't wait to get started.
But after she started training, the 25-year-old admitted that she was still wobbly and thought it would take a while for her to get used to being on the ice.
Brooke confessed: “I love a challenge. Ice skating - what an amazing skill. I've been trying to lose a few pounds to get in them leotards.
“Next year I can go with the girls and be like 'I can do this, I can do that' and they'll be holding on to the sides."
The show, which has been off air for three years, is known for accident prone celebrities suffering minor injuries on the ice - but that's not one of Brooke's worries.
She explained: “I started my ice training on Saturday. If I get injured at least I'll look sparkly on the way to the hospital!”
An exact air date is still to be confirmed – but all previous series’ started airing in January each year, suggesting series 10 will air from January 2018.
Ice skating legend Jayne Torvill declared the show will need to up its game as reality TV has raised the bar over the past few years.
Jason Gardiner is making his grand return to Dancing On Ice and joins the judging panel alongside some fan favourites.
Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean managed to swap their coaching roles for judges seats in a move that fans have been delighted by.
Ashley Banjo, the Diversity founder and Dance, Dance, Dance judge has also been confirmed to be joining the panel.
Other stars included in the full line-up include Love Island winner Kem Cetinay, GBBO winner Candice Brown and Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring.
