Dancing On Ice’s professional skaters Meg Marschall and ex-boyfriend Lloyd Jones given the boot following blazing rows
The ex-couple, who were paired with Kem Cetinay and Donna Air, allegedly could not stop arguing since signing up for the rebooted ITV show

ITV’s Dancing on Ice has been thrown into chaos after two of the show’s professional dancers left the series after furious backstage rows, The Sun’s Bizarre column can reveal.
American dancer Meg Marschall, 25, and on-off boyfriend Lloyd Jones, 29, had blazing arguments, and now neither will feature in the new series after showdown talks with production bosses.
Both had already met their celebrity partners Kem Cetinay, 21, and Donna Air, 38, and had started planning routines just weeks before the series launches.
Their slanging matches became so ferocious that bosses had to sit them down to discuss their future.
In the end they decided to resign with the blessing of ITV’s bosses.
A source said: “Meg and Lloyd have a lot of history and thought they could bury the hatchet and be on the same show.
“But they couldn’t do that and it resulted in ugly rows backstage causing them to be hauled in by production.
“Everyone agreed that the best course of action would be to let them go. And they’ve now been replaced.
“It has called a huge chaos for ITV and the show as the series starts in January and the process of finding new sexy skaters was long and painful. To make matters worse they had already both met their partners — Lloyd was with Donna Air, and Meg with Kem Cetinay.”
Thankfully, ITV had more dancers waiting in the wings, in case of injury. The warring couple will now be replaced by Alex Murphy and Mark Hanretty who will be paired up with Kem and Donna respectively.
An ITV spokesman said: “Megan and Lloyd have left the show for personal reasons. They will be replaced by Alex Murphy and Mark Hanretty. None of the professional skaters begin training with their celebrity partners until next week.”
The show source added: “Production bosses didn’t put up much of a fight and they understood the decision to leave. I think both of them thought it was just easier if they’re not having to be around each other all of the time.
“The only thing production were conscious of when they had the conversation was that it would be unfair to keep one and not the other anyway. So they both had to go.”
Dancing on Ice will return to screens in January 2018.

Bake to its roots for Xmas
ONLY PAUL HOLLYWOOD made the journey over to Channel 4 when Bake Off moved homes in a £75million switch from the BBC last year.
But some familiar faces will soon be joining him – and thankfully it’s not MEL AND SUE.
Instead, former contestants are being dusted down and rolled out for the Christmas special.
In the mix is hunky motorcycling banker Selasi Gbormittah who will be reunited with quirky Val Stones, Rav Bansal and Benjamina Ebuehi, who are all from the final series on the Beeb.
Joining them will be Beca Lyne-Pirkis, from series four, Paul Hollywood-lookalike Paul Jagger and Sandy Docherty, both from series six.
Going even further back into Bake Off history, the Channel 4 special will also feature series two runner-up Rob Billington.
Each contestant will face three Yuletide challenges in a bid to be named star baker.
They will be overseen by Paul and fellow judge PRUE LEITH, as well as new hosts SANDI TOKSVIG and NOEL FIELDING.
Mince pies all round.
