Jeremy McConnell faces jail on Thursday after ‘skipping community service to get a hair transplant’
Former Celebrity Big Brother star will appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Thursday for failure to comply with a community order
JEREMY McConnell could be jailed on Thursday after he “skipped community service” and flew to Turkey to get a hair and beard transplant.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work after being found guilty of assaulting the mother of his young son Stephanie Davis in August.
Jeremy will appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Thursday for “failure to comply with a community order” and could face jail for the breach.
A source close to the star told The Sun Online: “Jeremy has been reckless and stupid to think that the law wouldn’t catch up with him.
“He skipped dates so he could go out partying with his mates in Turkey and now it’s caught up with him.
“He’s had a hair transplant but the price could be a stint behind bars.
“He’s put his hands up though and will face the music on Thursday.
“Jeremy doesn’t seem that bothered about going back into court but that could all change depending on what the judge decides.”
After he walked free from jail, Jeremy re-located to Cardiff to start his 200 hours of unpaid work.
Last month, the 29-year-old was pictured sweeping roads as part of the order.
However, just three weeks on, The Sun Online revealed how Jeremy had left Wales and flown to Turkey for the cosmetic procedure.
