Richard Madeley tops up his tan in Australia as wife Judy Finnigan appears downcast at home
RICHARD Madeley and Judy Finnigan's marriage was a stark tale of two halves as the topless dad worked on his tan in Australia while his wife couldn't raise a smile on a freezing day on home turf.
The former This Morning hosts are spending the run-up to the festive period apart, as Richard's I'm A Celeb Extra Camp duties mean he will be Down Under for the next three weeks.
And in-between filming duties for the ITV reality show, which kicked off on Sunday, Richard is clearly making the most of the sunshine.
He was seen stripping topless and wearing just a pair of blue denim shorts as worked on his golden glow.
The 61-year-old read some documents as he lay back in a chair before abandoning his work completely and giving himself a shoulder massage.
Viewers have remarked on the presenter's golden highlights and re-vamped appearance and he made sure his barnet was evenly exposed to the rays as he ruffled his hand through his floppy locks.
Yet his tranquil state was not mirrored on the face of his other half as she ran errands on the other side of the globe.
Wearing an all-black outfit with bright red shoes, she struggled with a heavy bag as she walked through a London car park.
Perhaps missing her hubby, she had a pained expression etched on her face as she took a stroll alone.
With her gaze firmly on the floor she couldn't raise a hint of a smile - despite the prospect of some retail therapy in store.

Meanwhile Richard certainly has something to smile about after I'm A Celeb fans hailed him a legend when he dominated a Bushtucker trial last night - and showing up contestant Amir Khan in the process.
Screaming Amir, 30, crumbled during Critter-cal rescue on Monday night after grabbing a snake and giving up – leaving the camp with no food, however it was no challenge for Richard.
In fact the only time that Richard betrayed any sign of anxiety was when he was told he was crawling through terrifying green ants: “Yeah I can feel them, they really hurt,” he said.
While Amir didn’t manage to get any of the eight keys to unlock Toff from the coffin, Richard collected all eight and rescued a distraught Joe with aplomb.
