CAMPMATES got a rude awakening on I’m a Celebrity today – as their personal hygiene has begun to become more and more noticeable.

Amir Khan admitted to his fellow jungle dwellers today that he didn’t bring deodorant for his time in the camp – while others were left retching as they began to realise they were all beginning to smell.

However, after assuming that the production team would provide a roll-on for the campmates, Amir was left stunned when he realised he didn’t have any.

“I looked in my bag and I can’t find any deodorant.” He laughed, before adding he “didn’t smell anyway.”

The other camp mates clearly weren't so lucky, however, and ended up joining forces to complain about the camp pong.

Talking to the Bush Telegraph, Made in Chelsea star Toff said: “When I open my eyes I’m in awe of everything I see here, then my mind comes back to what’s going on – the honking pits, soggy sleeping bags and just the general stinking smell that radiates off me.”

“But it doesn’t matter as I’m waking up in the Jungle,” she added.

Footballer Dennis Wise was also catching a whiff of jungle life and said: “Everyone has their own hygiene level and this morning Jamie and I went off to have a shower.

“After a couple of days it can really start to chuck up at bit to be honest.”

Dennis and Jamie then hit the showers in order to try and shake off the sweaty smell that was taking over their bodies and the camp – but to no avail.

However, there was one brazen person in the camp who was fully embracing their new pongy way of life.

“I think we’re all getting stinky,” admitted Jennie McAlpine, before laughing: “We’re all trying to wash…I haven’t.”
