Ant and Dec recreate iconic Byker Grove blinding moment on I’m a Celebrity – as they joke about having smelly pits
The Geordie duo did a cheeky throwback to the beginning of their career on the CBBC show - but did you spot it?
ANT and Dec gave fans at home a cheeky throwback to the start of their careers on I'm a Celebrity tonight - by recreating an iconic Byker Grove moment.
The pair referenced the iconic moment in the 90s kids TV show when Ant's character PJ was shot in the face with a paintball gun, rendering him blind.

In scenes that unfolded in the show, Dec (who played his best mate Duncan) ran to his aid before declaring: "He cannae see, man!"
More than twenty years later, the pair still managed to drop a cheeky throwback during a chat on I'm a Celebrity.
Switching roles in a chat about personal hygiene, Ant leaves Dec "blinded" by his pongy B.O.
When Ant later raises his arm to point, Dec dramatically collapses on the table, claiming that he was blinded by the smell.

A knowing Ant then turned to the camera and echoed the legendary phrase: "He cannae see, man!"
Although the moment was fleeting, fans of the presenting pair were quick to pick up on the old school reference, and were delighted to hear it as Ant and Dec continue to be on top form.

One fan had a blast from the past and said: "Yessss Byker..Byker Grove!!! 😂😂 I remember being so upset when PJ got hit by the paintball, I was sobbing."
They may have become presenting megastars - but it's clear they're still very much Byker boys.
