Will Jack Maynard be replaced and who might enter the I’m A Celebrity 2017 jungle in his place?
I'M A Celebrity viewers were left shocked on Tuesday night when Ant and Dec revealed Jack Maynard had left the jungle.
The YouTube star had only lasted three days in camp before producers took the decision to remove him, but his premature departure has left viewers wondering if he will be replaced. Here's what we know.
Why did Jack Maynard leave I'm a Celebrity?
Jack was sensationally sacked from I'm A Celebrity on Tuesday night's show after it emerged he posted racist and homophobic slurs on Twitter before joining the show.
The Sun revealed his place was in doubt over the vile messages and the 22-year-old was then asked to leave the camp just three days into filming.
Fans of the hit reality show were stunned when Ant and Dec broke the news of Jack's exit during a link in last night's episode.
The Sun exclusively revealed a series of tweets by Jack when the ITV programme started.
In one message, posted online in June 2011, he said he was “At alices with my n****s!” He also repeatedly calls people “retards”.
In another post he tweeted pics of people with deformities with comments “in his prime” and “Ahahahaha! Sooo funny!” On one image of a black man with bulging eyes he added: “looking greatttt!!”
It's also been reported he was booted off the show after he begged a 14-year-old fan to send him nude pictures online.
According to the , the YouTube sensation, 23, told her that her "boobs are so nice" and "would look good in a bra shot" but later branded her a "bore" and "ugly freak", when she refused to share pictures.
Will Jack Maynard be replaced on I'm a Celebrity?
Jack's departure leaves only nine celebrities in the camp, and while MSP Kezia Dugdale and radio presenter Iain Lee are the camp's late arrivals, their inclusion had already been confirmed before the drama with Jack.
However, as it stands, show bosses have no plans to replace the YouTube star despite his early exit.
Who could replace Jack Maynard on I'm a Celebrity?
While the chances of Jack being replaced are slim at the moment, a number of famous names were previously in the mix for entering the camp, and one could still be chosen if ITV have a change of heart.
The Sun Online revealed how fans think Carol Vorderman could be making a return to the show after her successful stint in the jungle last year.
There is also speculation that Jack's older brother, singer Conor, could replace him in the jungle.
Other names that could be in the mix include:

Ryan starred as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street for 16 years before leaving in 2016 to try and conquer America.
A source close to the actor told The Sun online: “Ryan would be superb in the jungle and there has never been a family member following a family member into the outback ever in all the series.”
