Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson admits ‘I treated Amelia Lily badly’ as well as ex Tiffany Watson – which is ‘why she broke up with me’
MADE In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson has admitted he treated X Factor’s Amelia Lily badly as well as ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson – which he says was why she dumped him.
His and fellow cast mate Tiff’s messy break up has been documented on the E4 show with Sam in an emotional state in the latest episodes.
He dated singer Amelia after they came out of Celebrity Big Brother house this summer but she has admitted the timing was “bad”.
Now Sam, 25, has signed up to the new series of Celebs Do Dating and insists he is in a better place.
He told the Sun’s Bizarre column: “I'm back up. I make no qualms about it, I didn’t treat Amelia Lily very well. I didn’t treat my ex-girlfriend very well hence why she dumped me.
“I had been down there on the floor for a bit and I think it's time to pick myself up a bit. All my family and friends are like 'dude just get on with it' and everyone else is."
Fans of MIC will have seen Sam recently moping around Chelsea after Tiff left west London to get away from the pressurised atmosphere.
He now says he is ready to “get back on the horse” by going on the dating show which fellow cast mate Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo was on for the last series.
Sam revealed his energetic and endearing personality is all down to nerves and he is not the confident guy people think he is.
He told the Sun: “What better place to get on the horse than here.
“Even though I have never done anything like this before in my life.
“So I don't know how it's going to go.
“It is daunting and some of the girls here are so attractive.
“People always go 'you're so energetic' - it's panic. 'Oh you're really confident' - no I'm not. I'm actually super shy. It's just panic. I just talk to people - I overload.”
He also says he has not dated since his break up with Tiff as he has not wanted to.

Sam added: “No I haven't. I haven't really wanted to.
“It was a three year thing. It's hard to get straight back.
“I grieved for a very long time. I think now is the right to get back on it and have a different aspect of life because I've never done anything like this before.”
